Andrea M. Nichols, Partner
Andrea M. Nichols is a partner who has been serving the legal community for the past 10 years handling both plaintiff and defense litigation. While attending law school in Michigan, she was trained in mediation and acted as a mediator, and worked for the City Attorney's office in Warren, MI both representing the City in the courts as well as working with City Council to prepare resolutions for a variety of issues. She has dual licensing in California and North Carolina, however, is currently on inactive status in North Carolina. Primarily she represents clients in cases involving personal injury, auto, premises liability, employment law, general litigation, and intentional and negligent torts.
Ms. Nichols believes that every client has a right to be heard and listened to and plays a vital role in contributing to their case. She also believes that every client has a right to an attorney who recognizes that every case, every situation, and every client is unique, and that the client is a vital part of their case and understanding their goals.
When not in the office, she loves spending time with her family, playing sports, clogging, sewing, and decorating cakes. She also enjoy listening to books on tape, and given the opportunity and time, travelling. Additionally, Ms. Nichols is a mentor for a very unique group of spouses who find themselves in important but difficult roles and situations. She loves the learning and understanding and camaraderie that comes with this territory, and the utter relief one sees in their faces when they realize they are not alone and someone is there to help them along the way. She is grateful for the opportunity to serve her community both in her legal career and in light of her civic duties as a member of the community.
