Anthony Martinez is a partner in the firm’s litigation practice and is based in the Irvine office.

Mr. Martinez earned his Bachelor’s Degree in Neuroscience from the University of Southern California with a focus in medicine. He received his Juris Doctor degree from Chapman University School of Law, where he was a member of the Public Interest Law Foundation, Intellectual Property Society and Health Law Society.

Mr. Martinez’s experience includes working for several years in insurance defense arena representing large trucking businesses, the County of Orange, the Archdiocese of Los Angeles, and the Diocese of Orange in catastrophic injury, wrongful death, and employment matters. He has also worked as Volunteer Attorney for the American Civil Liberties Union of Southern California, working on cases concerning voting rights and immigrants’ rights. His experience also includes time as a Volunteer Attorney with the California Attorney General’s Office, in the Health Quality Enforcement Section, where he represented the Medical Board of California and other allied health care boards in disciplinary actions against health care licensees.

Lacambra v. County of Orange, 30-2014-00706834: Successfully moved to name plaintiff a vexatious litigant based on his years of unsuccessful and frivolous litigation, ultimately resulting in the dismissal of a civil rights violations/tort action against the County of Orange.
