Bimali Walgampaya, Attorney

Bimali Walgampaya joined Callahan, Thompson, Sherman & Caudill, LLP in the summer of 2016 at the firm’s Orange County office. Bimali is an associate in the firm’s Labor and Employment department, as well as Collections.

Prior to joining our firm, Bimali worked for 14 years at the law offices of Wellman & Warren, LLP where she started her legal career as a receptionist, but excelled to become an associate after passing the California State Bar in 2009. Bimali’s background is in complex business litigation, which she has handled for more than six years. She also has experience with litigation matters dealing with personal injury, debt collection, trade secret violations, breach of contract disputes and wrongful termination. Bimali has worked closely with several network marketing companies and has represented both the companies and distributors in various civil actions.

Bimali completed her undergraduate degree at the University of California, Santa Barbara where she obtained a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Political Science and a Minor in International Relations. She then attended Western State, College of Law, where she earned her Juris Doctorate. Bimali is admitted to practice law in the United States District Courts for the Central and Southern Districts of California.

Bimali also spends much of her time volunteering at a Non-Profit Organization located in Laguna Beach, California called the The Blue Bell Foundation for Cats. Her passion for animals has led her to form her own Non-Profit, so that she can work on rescuing animals from shelters.
