Ryan J. Carlson, Attorney
Mr. Carlson was born in Baltimore, Maryland, raised in Woodstock, New York, completed his undergraduate education at Coastal Carolina University in Conway, South Carolina, and has spent additional time in Austin, Texas and San Jose, Costa Rica. Touches of each region are noticeable in Mr. Carlson’s overall practice approach.
Since becoming licensed to practice law in 2015, he has handled a wide range of labor and employment matters for both employers and employees alike. He has also litigated several insurance bad faith, personal injury, and construction defect cases, and often provides advice and counseling to business clients, primarily in the barbershop and beauty salon industry.
For an attorney his age, Mr. Carlson has amassed a tremendous amount of trial experience, having second chaired two trials in Riverside County and having first chaired a labor and employment trial in San Diego Superior Court. He attributes much of his early trial experience and desire to stand out as a trial attorney to his three years of competing on Coastal Carolina University’s Mock Trial Team under Professor Ronald Wilson. It is his goal to continue building upon this trial experience at the same rapid rate as his career progresses.
When Mr. Carlson is not busy with the practice of law, he enjoys golfing, photography, traveling, and cooking for his friends.
