Kathleen M. Hartman, Partner
Kate Hartman is an Equity Partner with CTSC. She is a versatile litigator whose practice areas include wage and hour law, employment litigation, class actions, consumer fraud, business litigation, and general liability. Kate works with her clients to obtain the best result possible. A tenacious advocate, Kate has benefited her clients by winning motions for summary judgment, defeating class certification, and winning class certification motions. Kate has successfully litigated cases through jury and bench trials in state and federal court as well as in private arbitration. She even prevailed on an appeal to the United States Supreme Court.
Kate credits much of her success to her family and the opportunity she had to work as an extern for the Honorable Warren J. Ferguson at the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals. During her externship she received practical experience in evaluating issues that has helped her throughout her career. She is very grateful for this opportunity.
