Annette Clark is a partner with CTSC. Her practice encompasses many areas including personal injury, employment litigation and consultation, business, bad faith, class action, general liability, premises liability, and declaratory judgment actions.

In addition to litigation, Annette handles a wide variety of insurance coverage matters including offering coverage opinions and advice to both insurance carriers and institutional clients, and handling uninsured motorist arbitrations on behalf of both insureds and carriers. Annette has helped many clients obtain insurance benefits which were originally denied by the carrier under both commercial and personal insurance policies and has obtained summary judgment for insurers accused of bad faith for denying coverage.

Annette has successfully litigated cases through jury and bench trials in both state and federal court, in private arbitration and has handled declaratory judgment actions on behalf of both insureds and insurers. Before switching careers to become an attorney, Annette worked for 14 years in insurance management where she gained extensive experience and knowledge in the areas of general insurance industry, claims handling and underwriting practices.

Obtained arbitration award and attorneys’ fees against Singapore company for stealing client’s intellectual property and breaching contract.
Obtained Summary Judgment for Insurer accused of bad faith for denying a defense.

Obtained jury verdict of $31,000 in bad faith case, when the last demand from plaintiff was $1 million.

Obtained $7,500 settlement of class action alleging minimum wage violations because interns were unpaid.

Obtained declaratory judgment from Arbitrator who adopted our interpretation of insurance provisions in ancient lease and ruled that client had not breached the lease.
